
As part of the ongoing monitoring of workflow within the dormitories and to ensure a suitable residential environment for students, the Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs at the University, Professor Dr. Maitham Abdul-Hussein Al-Wazzan, conducted a field inspection tour on Monday, May 19, 2025, which included a number of student dormitories to monitor the level of discipline and preparedness.
During his inspection tour, the Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs reviewed a number of vital aspects related to the workflow within the dormitories, including:
The general environment of the dormitories, a review of general cleanliness, room arrangement, ventilation of corridors, and the level of maintenance of shared facilities.
The presence of on-duty staff was verified at their work sites and their commitment to implementing administrative instructions and directives was reviewed.
He also met with a number of students and listened to their comments regarding the services provided within the dormitories.
He inspected several kitchens, laundries, restrooms, and storage rooms, reviewing their readiness and cleanliness.
He also emphasized greater activation of the role of administrative supervisors to monitor daily operations within the dormitories and expedite the implementation of general periodic maintenance.
This tour is part of a series of periodic inspections aimed at improving the conditions of the dormitories and providing a suitable and comfortable living environment for our dear students. Regular field monitoring will continue to ensure the implementation of recommendations and follow-up on any observations.
