In an effort to provide a suitable and safe environment within the dormitory, the Maintenance Unit, under the direct supervision of the Director of the Dormitory Affairs Department, Professor Dr. Maitham Abdul-Hussein Hamid, conducted a comprehensive field tour and general inspection of all department facilities. The aim was to identify malfunctions and technical problems and develop a comprehensive maintenance plan based on priorities, ensuring continuity of service for the comfort of resident students.
Among the most important tasks implemented were:
Replacing damaged lamps, switches, and lighting in corridors; repairing electrical circuit breakers; maintaining ventilation and fan systems in rooms; cleaning and maintaining drains in bathrooms and kitchens; repairing locks and room doors; cleaning and sterilizing water tanks; and periodically spraying and controlling insects.
Continuous and regular maintenance work is a fundamental pillar in supporting the educational environment within the dormitory. It is also part of the department's plan to maintain the quality of services provided and provide a suitable and healthy environment for students.
