The Student Affairs Follow-up Committee continues to carry out its duties in the dormitories.

Under the direct guidance of the esteemed President of the University of Basra, and in an effort to monitor student affairs and provide a suitable university environment for them, the Student Affairs Follow-up Committee in the dormitories, headed by the esteemed Dr. Shukri Shaker Faleh and including several specialized professors, continued its work. This included field inspection tours of several residential complexes affiliated with the dormitories.

During its tour, the committee reviewed the status of services provided to students in various service and living aspects. It also listened to their comments and needs, affirming its relentless efforts to overcome difficulties and meet the basic requirements that ensure students' comfort and academic stability.

The committee also focused on monitoring the compliance of dormitory administrations with university instructions and directives, ensuring the implementation of regulations related to general discipline, and providing an appropriate environment that ensures a healthy and integrated academic and social environment.

This periodic follow-up reflects the university presidency's commitment to prioritizing students, as they are the cornerstone of building the future and an important contributor to the advancement of knowledge, education, and community service.
