The official handover ceremony for the position of department director took place at the Department of Internal Affairs at the University of Basra. Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Imad Al-Rubaie assumed his duties as department director, succeeding Professor Dr. Maitham Abdul-Hussein Al-Wazzan. The ceremony was attended by a number of department staff and the committee responsible for the handover process.

The ceremony was conducted in accordance with established administrative procedures, with the tasks and responsibilities being officially and documentedly handed over from the previous director to the new director.

This step comes within the framework of the University of Basra's efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and develop services provided to its students, in line with the university's progress and future aspirations.
