
University of Basra Completes Air Conditioning Equipment Maintenance
As part of a plan to improve the residential environment for students in dormitories, the University of Basra's Department of Internal Affairs has completed air conditioning equipment maintenance in dormitory buildings.
This work aims to provide a comfortable and healthy living environment that is compatible with climatic conditions, especially during the summer.
Dr. Maitham Abdul Hussein Hamid, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, stated that air conditioning installation and maintenance work was carried out in a number of dormitory buildings, in addition to improving the efficiency of existing air conditioning units and replacing damaged units with new ones. Additional units were also installed in previously unserved rooms and corridors, and periodic preventative maintenance was also carried out to avoid future malfunctions.
