The Dormitories Department at the University of Basra Begins Student Housing for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

The Dormitories Department at the University of Basra has begun the process of housing students for the 2026-2027 academic year, in accordance with established regulations and instructions, and under the direct supervision of the department director, Assistant Lecturer Muntadhar Jumaa Mahdi.

The procedures included organizing and verifying student files and assigning them to residential units based on capacity, ensuring a smooth housing process and providing a safe and suitable living environment that helps students settle in and continue their studies.

The department administration confirmed that work will continue in the coming days to complete the housing of eligible students, and expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the committees and administrative and technical staff in completing the procedures and receiving the students.
