The College of Medicine at the University of Basra has supplied the Department of Internal Affairs with a number of air conditioning units (split units).

The College of Medicine, represented by Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, Dean of the College of Medicine, has supplied the departments with a number of split units as part of the joint cooperation between the various colleges and university departments, and as part of its commitment to supporting a suitable residential environment for students.

The aforementioned units were delivered to the department after coordination with the relevant administrative authorities and under the direct guidance of the Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, Professor Dr. Maitham Abdul-Hussein Al-Wazzan. This is aimed at improving the services provided in the internal departments, especially with the approach of the summer season and the rise in temperatures.
