As part of the University of Basra's Department of Internal Affairs' plan to maintain infrastructure and improve the student housing environment, the technical team of the Department (No. 1) carried out a series of periodic and emergency maintenance works across various dormitory complexes. These included repairing internal and external lighting malfunctions, replacing damaged electrical switches and outlets, maintaining electrical distribution panels, replacing lighting units, and repairing restrooms and kitchens.

The Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, Professor Dr. Maitham Abdul-Hussein Al-Wazzan, affirms his ongoing commitment to improving the quality of student housing through continuous monitoring of maintenance work and immediate response to reports. He also strives to provide a suitable and comfortable environment for our valued students, enhancing their academic and living experience at the University of Basra.
