With the beginning of the new academic year, I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you, wishing you an academic year filled with diligence, hard work, and success. I hope it will be a year of goodness and blessings in which each of you achieves your academic aspirations.

The Department of Student Affairs at the University of Basra will remain, as you have always known it, a second home for our dear students. We all work tirelessly to provide decent housing and appropriate services. We strive to ensure that the student environment fosters academic excellence, fosters moral commitment, and fosters fraternal cooperation.

My dear students, you are the pillars of the future and the hope of the nation. With you, Iraq's renaissance will be built. Therefore, we urge you to adhere to university instructions, preserve public property, and foster a spirit of cooperation among yourselves so that you may always remain a model of discipline and excellence.

In conclusion, I welcome you once again to your university and your internal departments, asking God Almighty to guide you all to what is good and successful.
