
The University of Basra held a condolence ceremony in the dormitories to commemorate the martyrdom of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Basra and the supervision of the Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs, the Assistant Dean of the Dormitory Affairs Department delivered a religious lecture on the occasion of the martyrdom of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her). The lecture was held in one of the designated halls within the female student housing complexes.
The lecture addressed the fragrant biography of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), her distinguished human and religious qualities, as well as the lessons and morals derived from her blessed life and her significant impact on building Islamic society.
During the lecture, the Assistant Dean emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the life of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her) to convey the values of patience, faith, and steadfastness. She noted that commemorating these religious occasions instills authentic values in students and strengthens their connection to the authentic Islamic identity.
At the conclusion of the lecture, the female students in attendance expressed their gratitude for this initiative, which contributes to deepening religious and moral awareness and enhancing the spiritual atmosphere within the dormitories.
