As part of its development plans aimed at improving the services provided to students and providing a suitable university environment, the Department of Internal Affairs at the University of Basra continues to implement maintenance and rehabilitation work in a number of its residential complexes.

 

Ongoing work includes maintaining plumbing and electrical systems, rehabilitating rooms and corridors, maintaining doors and windows, and cleaning gardens and public corridors. This is part of the department's commitment to providing a safe and comfortable residential environment for resident students.

 

The Director of the Department of Internal Affairs explained that this work is being carried out under the direct direction of the University President as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at developing university buildings and improving the quality of services provided to students. He emphasized the continuation of this work in all complexes according to a specific timetable to ensure the sustainability of services.

 

The Department of Internal Affairs also affirms its continued commitment to regularly following up on maintenance and development work, which contributes to achieving a model university environment that reflects the level of care the university places on its valued students.
