The University of Basra Strengthens Cooperation Among Its Internal Departments

 

As part of efforts to enhance institutional cooperation and integrate roles among university departments, the Director of the Dormitory Affairs Department, Mr. Muntadhar Jumaa Mahdi, received the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Dr. Amal Mohammed Abdulkarim, during an official visit aimed at strengthening joint coordination and following up on matters related to dormitory affairs and the services provided to female students.

 

During the meeting, an extensive official session was held to discuss the current state of administrative and organizational work within the Dormitory Affairs Department. The session also addressed mechanisms for implementing applicable regulations and procedures, as well as reviewing the adopted measures for organizing university housing and ensuring a suitable and safe environment that contributes to supporting the educational process and achieving academic and psychological stability for female students.

 

The meeting also touched upon ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the College of Education for Women and the Dormitory Affairs Department. This aims to achieve integrated institutional performance and contribute to addressing challenges and obstacles that may hinder workflow by adopting appropriate administrative solutions in accordance with the legal and administrative procedures in place at the university.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination, teamwork, and strengthening institutional partnerships to contribute to the development of the university environment, enhance administrative and service performance, and achieve the strategic goals of the University of Basra.
