The University of Basra has continued its comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation work on student dormitories, as part of its ongoing commitment to providing a suitable and safe living environment that supports the educational process and ensures the psychological and living well-being of students.

 

This work is part of the plan approved by the university administration to develop and improve the infrastructure and services of the dormitories. The maintenance and rehabilitation work includes addressing structural and service aspects, maintaining electrical, security, water, and sewage systems, and rehabilitating dorm rooms and public facilities to meet approved standards and the requirements of university housing.

 

The Director of the Dormitory Affairs Department, Mr. Muntadhar Jumaa Mahdi, confirmed that these efforts are being carried out under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Basra to ensure the quality of the work completed and adherence to the established timelines, while taking into account student feedback and needs and working to overcome any obstacles that might affect the level of services provided.
