University of Basra Holds Safety Awareness Lecture

The Department of Dormitory Affairs at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra Civil Defense Unit, held a lecture on civil defense, including information on poisoning cases and how to use fire extinguishers to prevent them. The lecture was attended by dormitory staff in Hall 3 at the Garma Ali campus.

The lecture aimed to raise awareness and promote adherence to safety procedures to prevent accidents.

The lecture, presented by Captain Salah Hassan Ali and Commissioner Abdul Aziz Mohammed Mohsen, covered how to avoid accidents, emphasizing the crucial role of civil defense in responding to natural disasters, fires, and other incidents. It also addressed the proper use of fire extinguishers and building evacuation procedures.
