University of Basra Holds Safety Awareness Lecture

The Department of Dormitories Affairs at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra Civil Defense Unit, held an awareness lecture on safety and civil defense. The lecture, delivered by Commissioner Abdul Aziz Mohammed Mohsen, was attended by staff and students of the dormitories in Hall 3 at the Garma Ali campus.

The lecture aimed to raise awareness and emphasize adherence to safety procedures and accident prevention.

The lecture included explanations on how to avoid accidents, the role of civil defense in rescuing people from natural disasters, fires, and other incidents, as well as how to use fire extinguishers and building evacuation procedures.
