The Director of the Dormitory Affairs Department at the University of Basrah Receives a Delegation from the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas to Discuss Prospects for Joint Cooperation

Assistant Lecturer Muntadhar Jumaa Mahdi, Director of the Dormitory Affairs Department at the University of Basrah, received a delegation from the Dormitory Affairs Department at the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise between the two institutions, contributing to the development of services provided to students residing in dormitories.

During the meeting, Mahdi emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination among Iraqi universities in the management of dormitories and leveraging successful experiences to positively impact the provision of a suitable and safe living environment for students. Discussions also covered preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year, maintenance and renovation plans, and the provision of necessary supplies to support the educational process.

For their part, the delegation from the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas commended the level of organization and procedures implemented in the dormitories at the University of Basrah, expressing their desire for continued joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise to serve the students' best interests and enhance the quality of services provided to them.
