University of Basra Holds Safety Lecture

The Department of Internal Affairs at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra Civil Defense Unit, held a lecture on civil defense, types of poisoning, and prevention. The lecture was attended by internal department staff in Hall (Department 3) at the Garmat Ali site.

The purpose of the lecture was to raise awareness and adhere to safety procedures and prevent accidents.

The lecture, delivered by Colonel Ahmed Subaih Qasim, included topics on how to avoid accidents, as civil defense is a rescuer from natural disasters, fires, and any other event. It also covered methods for using fire extinguishers and evacuating buildings.
